If you have a copy of our Dublin Mountains map, then you should take note of this small update to the ever popular Cruagh Wood. This is one of a number of Coillte properties on the flanks of the Dublin Hills currently undergoing a makeover. Conifer trees are being replaced with native broadleaf species along with new walking and cycling trails.
The map attached shows a new ‘Native Woodland Trail’ path that has recently been constructed and is now open to the public. It will facilitate a shorter loop walk from the car park, suitable for those with younger legs as well as being a useful shortcut.
