Today’s Charles Thompson image is from Djouce, a very popular and much photographed hill in east Wicklow. The chaps are having a wee dram at the summit tor. Note the small cairn and pole on the top, this is where the concrete trig pillar was built maybe a decade after this photo was taken. The photo underneath is a mountain camping trip of the day.
