Samuel Hayes Bridge Update

Thanks to map user Isobel O’Duffy for supplying details of the newish Samuel Hayes footbridge across the Avonmore in Co.Wicklow. This update applies to our Wicklow South East 1:25,000 scale map and our South Wicklow digital map.

The new footbridge links the Croneybyrne and Ballygannon sides of the Avonmore. Linking the Avonmore Way to the Ballygannon trails and the Jubilee Trail in particular that leads into Rathdrum village. In doing so, a walk on sometimes busy tarmac roads can be avoided.
