Wicklow Way Update

Map update for Wicklow 1:25,000 print maps & Wicklow Way Map Guides.

Thanks to Aaron Byrne of Wicklow Partnership for supplying details of a recent re route of the Wicklow Way near Mullacor in Co.Wicklow. So a boardwalk section crosses the hill here from Glendalough to Glenmalure. Where this ends, a new graded trail has been built down through the forest on the Glenmalure side to reach the forest road below. This replaces the old route which was getting heavily eroded. Likewise thanks to Proinsias de Paor for pointing out the existence of a useful path from the end of a forest road in Glendasan, that leads up alongside an old ditch and connects to the paths leading to Brockagh mountain. See map extract.
