Cleared the decks temporarily and making a start on plotting draft detail for parts of Kerry. In this case, two maps of The Reeks and Mangerton, overlapping around the Gap of Dunloe. Plan is to compile detail to our 25Series standard but the maps will be printed at 1:20,000 for additional legibility. We start with a blank canvas, longish road ahead! Frankly I’ll be glad to get back to contours, rock features, streams and lakes. It’ll make for a welcome change from housing estates, stud farms and tennis courts that inevitably feature in greater Wicklow, Dublin and Kildare.
