The now annual Art O’Neill Challenge takes place this January 13th. A challenge event journeying overnight from Dublin Castle to Glenmalure and commemorating the escape & flight of Art & Henry O’Neill with Red Hugh O’Donnell in 1592.

Entry to this is by lottery draw limited to 200 places and so closed for this year. If you are a lucky entrant, remember you’ll need maps of the route and our Wicklow West 1:25,000 sheet in laminated form is ideal to cover the mountainous part of the route.
