The Reeks and Killarney National Park

We have just completed two new detailed topographic maps for The Reeks and Killarney National Park in Co.Kerry. These have been prepared to our 25Series standard with a 5 metre contour interval etc. They will be printed at 1:20,000 scale to enhance legibility in this area of steep and complex detail. The image here includes the layout of the two sheets.

These maps have now gone to proofing stage with the printer. I don’t have a delivery date yet but I would hope they will be available in January coming and will advise then. We will have options for standard paper folded, laminated folded versions and a digital version for phone app EastWest Maps.

The purpose of this email is to offer customers an opportunity to purchase FLAT UNFOLDED copies of these maps. These will be suited for wall mounting, collections etc. Purchase will support the work invested in bringing these & other maps to the public. Please note that this is a pre-publication special offer and we’ll only order copies to fill these orders..

We are offering a pre-publication set of two flat unfolded copies, one of each above, for €80 inc VAT and postage. Delivery will be in a postal tube via An Post. Please note that for simplicity they are only being sold as a set, one of each.

The trimmed size of each map measures 1250mm x 820mm including the cover and legend. This can be trimmed to 1105mm x 800mm for the map detail. The two maps could be spliced together and combined into one large sheet but this and mounting are the responsibility of the customer.

Lugnaquilla & Glendalough and Comeragh Reprints

Both our popular Lugnaquilla & Glendalough and Comeragh maps 1:25,000 scale maps will be reprinted along with above. This is an intermediate reprint, not a major revision but it does offer an opportunity for customers to purchase FLAT UNFOLDED copies of these maps. These will be suited for wall mounting, collections etc. Please note that this is a pre-publication offer and we’ll only order copies to fill these orders.
