Errigal Moraines

Some interesting contour detail on the back or north side of Errigal mountain in Donegal. The 5 metre contour interval brings out the humps and hollows typical of this sort of terrain. Deposited presumably as the last period of glaciation came to an end, with the ice melting and retreating, depositing mounds of stone. It’ll be interesting to see if there is a local name for this area, it surely has or had a name.
