Donegal Plots

Work has started on two new 1:25,000 maps for Donegal covering the Bluestack & Derryveagh areas. I’m currently working up a base map plot for the Bluestack region using a combination of aerial imagery and digital terrain models from Bluesky Ireland.

It’s a while since I’ve been in these hills but it’s wild country for sure with fantastic complex detail. Here’s a wee taster, an extract of just a couple of square kilometres.
